Tunisia's Best Referee to handle Eagles-Madagascar
Tunisian Referee Jedidi Slim has been chosen by the Confederation of African Football to officiate the Eagles Nations Cup tie against Madagascar on Sunday.Hassani Bechir and Saadallah Chokri, both Tunisians, have been chosen as the first and second assistant referees by CAF.
The 40 year old Jedidi has been an international referee since 2008 and is widely regarded by Tunisians as their best arbiter. The last international match which he officiated was the Sudan-Benin world cup qualifiers on 14th November 2009.
Jedidi is seen as a very fair referee but he may be 'card happy', as he has issued a total of 28 yellow cards, based on 7 international matches.Statistically, he is likely to award a penalty to the Eagles on Sunday, as he has awarded 3 penalties to the home team in 7 matches.
