Nigeria international Ahmed Musa salvaged a 2-2 draw for CSKA Moscow in a Russian championship playoff against Zenith Saint Petersburg Saturday.
Ahmed Musa, who featured for Nigeria in a goalless draw with Rwanda in a 2013 AFCON qualifier Wednesday, hit the target for the army team in the 68th minute to end the match 2-2 with his team trailing 2-1.
He is delighted to get his first goal in the Russian league and promised to score more for his club in their quest to win the championship.
"I am happy that I scored the equaliser. We did our best as a team to win this very tough match. I am looking forward to scoring more goals for CSKA in our quest to win the championship," said the former Kano Pillars star.
