Kaduna United edge Foullah

Saviour Fidelis
Kaduna United produced an accomplished display to edge past Chadian club, Foullah Edifice 2-0 in a first leg CAF Confederation Cup round of 16 game.

The game was played at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium, Kaduna on Sunday. The Nigerian side took the lead on the stroke of half time via a display of genius by Ali Adamu.
Substitute, Saviour Fidelis was fouled at the edge of the area on 76 minutes and Linus Adams converted the ensuing free kick to give Maurice Cooreman’s side hope ahead of the second leg.
We deserved to win,” Fidelis told SuperSport.com.

“If we play at this level, there is no way we will not win in the second leg,” he boasted.
The return fixture comes up in a couple of weeks in N’jamena.
Kaduna United currently sit in 3rd place on the Nigeria Premier League (NPL) standings with 33 points from 19 games.
