Moses |
Moses’ appearance has thus doused any speculations that he has developed cold feet over his decision to feature for Nigeria ahead of England.
He said he is “super excited” to be part of the Eagles.
The Wigan star is expected to make his long-awaited Eagles debut on Wednesday in Kigali.
Also, midfielder Sani Kaita trained fully with the Eagles in Abuja to finally dispel rumours he is nursing an injury.
Other overseas stars at the training were the England quartet of Yakubu Aiyegbeni (Blackburn Rovers), Dickson Etuhu (Fulham), Osaze Odemwingie (West Bromwich Albion) and Taye Taiwo (QPR).
Three players, Vincent Enyeama, Joel Obi and Ikechukwu Uche, have been permitted by coach Stephen Keshi join the squad later Monday as they were involved with their European clubs Sunday.
Monday’s morning workout was exciting as the 11 players from the Nigeria Premier League (NPL) battled to assert themselves on the pitch.
The other interesting aspect of the training was that all the players sported newly designed training kits delivered by kit sponsors adidas.
The team will depart for Rwanda Monday night on a chartered flight.
